About this work
A figurine of a character with long, flowing red hair that extends down to its waist. The character is wearing a black outfit adorned with a silver and orange fleur-de-lis symbol. The figurine has large, expressive eyes and a neutral facial expression. The character's attire includes a black mask that covers its eyes, and it has orange accents on its sleeves and possibly other parts of the outfit. The overall design gives the character a somewhat mysterious and stylish appearance.Born into the greyness of England at the end of the Seventies, by the age of four Jon-Paul Kaiser knew that what he wanted to do in life was a draw. From that point he rarely strayed from that path; scribbling and doodling his way through School, College and University. After working with Porlzilla, Jon-Paul decided to go it alone concentrating at first on the toy customization scene, building up a name and strong reputation for himself with his stark Black & White custom style, influenced by comic book art, film noir & Ukiyo-e prints. This lead to him being approached by established toy producers for designs for their platform toys. Principally amongst these are Toy2R who have released numerous JPK Platforms. Dimoo is a popular designer toy series created by Chinese artist Ayan Deng and produced by POP MART, a well-known collectible toy company. The character Dimoo is a small, dreamy-looking figure with a childlike appearance, often depicted with a large head, wide eyes, and fluffy cloud-like hair. The design gives Dimoo an innocent and whimsical aesthetic, making it a favorite among collectors. Dimoo toys come in various themed series, each featuring different outfits, accessories, and environments that reflect fantasy, nature, and nostalgic emotions. Some popular series include “Dimoo Aquarium,” “Forest Night,” and “Travelers”, each telling a unique visual story.
