About this Venue

Twenty Eyes Collective is comprised of James Rheem Davis, Danny Miller, Matt Pennachi and Iron Jaiden. Our shared love for movies, poster art and the eerie, oddball, strange and grotesque brought us together. This company is about turning those passions into a venue for new and established poster print artists, as well as an essential stop for collectors of quality screen-printed art. Some of our favorite projects include official prints for The Walking Dead, movie posters from Cinema Overdrive screenings and pretty much any occasion that brings new artists in to collaborate with us. As we grow, look for toys and tees to be added to our shop and lot of exciting new talent to keep you on the edge of your seat.Danny Miller was born in raised in North Carolina, in a non-haunted house without a shortcut to hell in the basement. His neighbors (probably) weren’t devil worshippers. His hometown wasn’t plagued by zombie hordes or mutant-making radioactive waste. He never saw big-toothed monsters squash hapless pedestrians on the city streets. And most disappointingly, nearby bodies of water could not be accurately described as “shark infested.” And yet, despite having never been possessed by a demon or kidnapped by vampires, Danny made it through childhood with a hunger for the strange and gruesome, for b-movie monsters and massive, man-eating Great White Sharks. He references horror movie and comic book imagery in his art, celebrates his birthday with an annual “JawsFest” and has a better plan than most for fending off zombies. Danny’s worked as a screen printer of posters and t-shirts for the last few years. His prints have been seen everywhere from bulletin boards (advertising movie nights and rock shows) to art galleries. He is very excited about being part of 20 Eyes Collective.Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas. Screen printing is also a stencil method of print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface. It is also known as silkscreen, seriography, and serigraph.
