About this Manufacturer
Collaborating with artists worldwide, we produce outstanding art figures with exceptional quality. While art figures are our core focus, Mighty Jaxx also serves as a outlet for us to turn extraordinary ideas into reality. We collaborated with well known Singaporean artist, Clogtwo, for our first figure. 2012 will see us releasing a few more prototypes including art figures and functional design for the art toy community.Nickelodeon art toys are collectible designer figures inspired by the network’s iconic cartoons and characters. These toys often feature creative reinterpretations of beloved shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, Ren & Stimpy, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Brands like Kidrobot and Funko create stylized vinyl toys featuring characters in exaggerated or minimalist forms. Medicom Toy has produced limited-edition SpongeBob SquarePants BE@RBRICK figures, blending pop culture with collectible fashion. Urban and Graffiti-Inspired Designs – Some Nickelodeon art toys incorporate street art aesthetics, featuring spray-painted textures, neon colors, or abstract forms. Certain designers take a more avant-garde approach, distorting characters or reimagining them in unexpected ways, such as grotesque versions of Ren & Stimpy or abstract interpretations of Rugrats. Collaborations with brands like Supreme and Uniqlo have resulted in unique Nickelodeon-themed toys and figures with high-end appeal.Based in Singapore, XXRAY builds on your imagination and shows you what your favourite character looks like on the inside. Balancing good design and unique licenses, it is our promise to produce outstanding quality collectibles.. The XXRAY team is spearheaded by popular artist Jason Freeny (well known for his dissection style) and the Mighty Jaxx team.Jason Freeny is a New York based sculptor and toy designer. Voted "2014 Fan Favorite" by Clutter Magazine readers, Freeny blurs the lines between toy design, art, science and teaching. Known for his iconic anatomical character dissections, Jason utilizes his industrial design prototyping techniques to create hyper-polished, hand made sculptures that are often confused as actual mass produced toys. Openly displaying his process and techniques in extensive work-in-progress posts on social media as an online classroom (Facebook) (Instagram) Born in Silver Spring Maryland, Jason studied industrial design at Pratt Institute and spent most of his early career in production, retail and properties design with MTV Networks and ESPN before going solo in 2010. Since 2006, Jason has been meticulously exploring the innards of some of our favorite characters for our enjoyment. In 2015 Jason teamed up with Singapore based toy company MightyJaxx to produce limited edition sculpture reproductions and manufactured toys based on his creations, most can be found at his partner site
