Originally from Hong Kong, Bubi Au Yeung grew up drawing, doodling, watching cartoons and reading comics. Currently she lives and works in sleepless & an energetic city, Hong Kong. Beginning as an artist and multimedia designer, Bubi has since had the opportunity to work on projects with a diverse mix of companies, such as advertising agency TeamOne,famous toy company Superplastic from USA, le sucre du patisserie from Indonesia, Kiehl's, HKTDC, Crazylabel, Fluffy House, How2Work, China Times Publishing Company from Taiwan, Playlounge and Warchild from UK, Momiji from UK, Poketo from US, local culture magazine:Fleurs des Lettres and Platform, Singpao newspaper and others. From doodling on phone books as a child, Bubi’s artistic skills have come a long way. For as long as she can remember, Bubi loves to draw, read all kinds of comic and illustrated books, and collect toys. She has created a series of illustrated stories, numerous characters, and limited figures, most notably Treeson, who was produced as her first vinyl figure in 2005, and quickly became a fans’ favourite around the world. She also got her first book "Treeson and other stories" published in 2007. She also a self-initiated learner, and she almost learn every new technology by herself, and recently Jibibuts were released in 2009 and are stocked by leading museums, galleries, art, design and gift boutiques worldwide. 12 to collect plus 2 extra special rare gold or silver editions. One display case of 12 guarantees a complete set. 2.5 – 3.5 inches tall. Made from 100% sustainably harvested rubber wood. Jibibuts sp., are long-lived forest dwellers native to the west coast of Carrara Island. Found mostly in moist temperate climates, they scurry about the forest floor consuming all manner of fallen leaf litter. Jibibuts sp., are important biological indicators of forest health. Specimens discovered by the Biological Institute of Carrara. Males are colored. Females are brown-toned About the wood we use: Jibibuts are made from sustainably harvested rubber tree wood that would otherwise go to waste. Rubber trees are planted for their rubber but after about 20 years, their rubber yields start to diminish. We use this beautiful wood for all our wooden products, thus saving it from the fire pit.
