Bunnyfish - Blue

Bigshot Toyworks is a creative studio specializing in the design and production of unique collectables, toys and art objects. With roots deep in industrial design, toy design, digital sculpting and very close project management the team at Bigshot has a unique ability to create incredibly vivid and detailed works of art that closely represent the heart, soul and vision of their creative partners. Unique understanding and endless drive to pull off the impossible and surprise fans and collectors is the driving force behind the studio. The Bunnyfish is a creation of Kozyndan, a Los Angeles-based husband-and-wife illustrator team Kozue and Dan Kitchens, known in particular for their whimsical and occasionally absurd illustrations of modern cityscape. Kozyndan wanted to reproduce their lovable character as a crochet figure and we were excited to help. The result was a production run where each hand made figure was completely unique and yet retained the wonderful friendliness and warmth of the original prototype. Kozyndan are Los Angeles based mad scientists. They are working on a secret formula for controlled nuclear fusion, and are creating a line of edible chickens. For fun they like to take long deep breaths and dip their heads into bowls of raspberry jelly and lemon curd. They live indoors and don't paint on walls. The couple also moonlights as freelance illustrators.
