About this Event
New York-based designer and sculptor RedGuardian has been carving out a path in the designer toy world for the past 4 years, though he has been a designer for well over two decades. Best known for his Creative Clown design and Chunder figures, his custom Designer Toy art is highly collectible and well-executed. We are excited to be hosting his unique work, and look forward to sharing it with you! Clutter Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery specializing in the vibrant world of designer toys and lowbrow art. Located in the artistic community of Beacon, New York (home to the world famous Dia museum), Clutter Gallery has established itself as a premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Since its inception in 2011, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of pop culture, street and low-brow art. In addition to its dynamic exhibitions, Clutter Gallery also houses an impressive permanent collection of Designer Toys, curated by the team behind its renowned print publication. This collection serves as a testament to the gallery’s deep-rooted connection to the designer toy movement and its commitment to preserving and celebrating this unique art form. TEQ63 is a designer art toy created by QUICCS, a Filipino artist known for his fusion of streetwear, cyberpunk, and mecha aesthetics. The character is heavily influenced by Japanese mecha (especially Gundam), hip-hop culture, and urban graffiti, making it one of the most recognizable figures in the modern art toy scene. TEQ63 is typically depicted wearing a hoodie, a futuristic skull-like helmet with a visor, and sneakers, often resembling classic streetwear styles. The toy exudes a futuristic, dystopian vibe, with robotic or mechanical details that give it a tech-infused personality. Many releases include different colorways, special editions, and collaborations with brands like Adidas, Kidrobot, Martian Toys, and Devil Toys. TEQ63 figures are primarily produced by Martian Toys and come in multiple sizes and materials, including vinyl, resin, and sofubi (Japanese soft vinyl). Variants range from standard 6-inch figures to oversized, limited-edition versions, as well as exclusive artist collaborations featuring unique designs and colors As all artists since the beginning of time, we always search for masters and mentors to look up to, whose work speaks to us on a spiritual level, those artworks that touch our hearts or engage our minds or maybe even enrage us. So, when I started my career as a Graphic Designer/Entrepreneur eighteen years ago and a Sculpter/Toy Designer along the way, I needed to find beacons to light up the toy crafting path ahead.
