FOE Gallery was founded to showcase art, create connections and share ideas. We partner with artists local to international with a focus on vinyl figures, subculture art and illustration. The beautiful space located in downtown Northampton Massachusetts brings people together for openings, music, video, interviews and presentations. FOE is owned and operated by Nicole and Jim Shea. Stop in! They love to talk art, community and possibilities. We build relationships and share art and ideas. Featuring the work of Mark Nagata; illustrator, toy designer and man behind Max Toy Company. The show also includes special guest from across the Northeast and their interpretation of Max Toy characters: Matt Albanese/MCA, Ryan Bonsall, Bob Conge/Plaseebo, Bob Eggleton, Kristilyn, Will Long/Buildbots, Brian Mahony/Guumon, Joe Merrill/Splurrt, Mister Reusch, Todd Robertson/Mechavirus, and Matt Walker/Dead Presidents Designs. Watercolor is a water-based painting medium characterized by its transparency and luminosity, achieved through finely ground pigments mixed with a binder like gum arabic and water, applied to a surface with a brush.
