Orange County, California based artist with an insatiable hunger to create monsters, creatures and characters. His appetite for the strange and unusual began at the age of 5 when he deviated from the mundane children's section of the local bookstore and came across a copy of Giger's Alien. Captivated by the design, the mood, the artistry-- He was doomed. His love for monsters and art making grew exponentially from his childhood and throughout his teens when he decided to pursue an art education in Los Angeles, CA. He studied classical art, technique and design at schools such as the Los Angeles Academy of Fine Art (LAAFA), Gnomon, Concept Design Academy, and Art Center. With fundamental art training under his belt, he found himself overwhelmed with career path options-- until he came across a class taught by Aris Kolokontes at Phoenix Atelier. The sculpting, the mold making, the resin casting-- He was doomed. His artistic influences include H.R. Giger, Beksinski, Chet Zar, Cam De Leon, Bosch, Rembrandt, Bernini, Jordu Schell, Casey Polymer clay is a versatile, synthetic modeling medium that remains soft and pliable until baked, allowing for easy shaping and creation of various crafts, jewelry, and sculptures.
