Mini Nooka Nooka - Veggiesomething

Created in 2006 as a manufacturing resource for artists and small companies, SOLID Industries, Inc. is a one-stop shop for getting high quality, limited edition products manufactured and delivered. Founded by Jeremy Madl (aka MAD) the company serves as a means to product a variety of his own products, but also as a service to his friends and commercial clients. SOLID allows him to not only offer the design and development end of a project, but the project management and manufacturing side as well. Going from a concept sketch all the way to a final product on a shelf is now possible. SOLID is also a work for hire resource, if a design is already done and is looking to be taken to the next level SOLID can help. Already working with several different clients on a variety of projects, we work one on one with each client to assure their input is injected throughout the process. The end result being a solid project that reflects the passion and hard work of all who helped bring it to market. There is a realm we can not see, can not hear, can not taste nor smell, yet from this realm comes everything perceived as real. Within this higher dimensional place lives beings who call themselves what can only be transliterated as: Nooka. Their physiology is transient, eternal in their world, ephemeral yet immortal in ours – beyond imagination yet real enough to feel. Time is to them as carbohydrates are to us, and from this they poo carrots and kittens [or anything else you can request]. They pee gravity and what is the equivalent of light to them is dark matter in our universe. All that aside, the similarities in names drew the Nookas to Nooka Inc. and a trans-dimensional relationship was forged! Now the official mascot of Nooka Inc., the NookaNooka™ can spread the cheer of wonder-through-design [wtd™] to the 4 corners of the earth. Born in Pingtung, Taiwan and based out of Chicago, Illinois, Veggiesomething (a.k.a. James Liu) has loved art and design for as long as he can remember. His artworks have been seen throughout the world via numerous art shows and exhibitions and have been featured in various publications and media outlets. His designer vinyl toys have also been sold around the world at contemporary museum shops, art galleries, and other finer designer shops. Thus far, Veggiesomething has created nine character lines (FIZZIEFUZZIE, House of Liu, United by Destruction!, Sugar Bandits, Debonair Rascal, Cash & Carry, the PRESENTERS, Atomic Apples, and Chunky Fries) and one concept label (Killerslayer). These creative endeavors often highlight his love for modular designs that are bold, clean, clear, and concise.
