About this Artist

Warner Bros. has significantly contributed to the art toy industry by collaborating with various manufacturers and artists to produce a diverse range of collectibles. These collaborations encompass characters from iconic franchises such as Looney Tunes, DC Comics, and Harry Potter. Kidrobot, in partnership with Warner Bros., has released collectible figures and plush toys featuring characters like Bugs Bunny as Batman and figures from “Tiny Toon Adventures” and “Animaniacs.” Collaborating with artists like Kenny Wong, POP MART has produced limited-edition figures celebrating Warner Bros.’ 100th anniversary, blending contemporary design with classic characters. ToyQube collaboration resulted in unique interpretations of classic characters, such as the “Tom & Jerry” figures, offering collectors distinctive designs Based in Singapore, XXRAY builds on your imagination and shows you what your favourite character looks like on the inside. Balancing good design and unique licenses, it is our promise to produce outstanding quality collectibles.. The XXRAY team is spearheaded by popular artist Jason Freeny (well known for his dissection style) and the Mighty Jaxx team. Self-produced art toys are designer collectibles created and manufactured independently by the artist or small teams without the backing of a large toy company or mass-market brand. These toys are often highly personal, artistic expressions and are usually made in limited runs. Key Characteristics include independent creation where the artist is in control of the entire process from concept, sculpting, and painting to production and packaging. These are usually made in small batches, often 10–100 pieces, which adds to their rarity, made using materials like resin, sofubi (Japanese soft vinyl), or 3D-printed components. Jason Freeny is a New York based sculptor and toy designer. Voted "2014 Fan Favorite" by Clutter Magazine readers, Freeny blurs the lines between toy design, art, science and teaching. Known for his iconic anatomical character dissections, Jason utilizes his industrial design prototyping techniques to create hyper-polished, hand made sculptures that are often confused as actual mass produced toys. Openly displaying his process and techniques in extensive work-in-progress posts on social media as an online classroom (Facebook) (Instagram) Born in Silver Spring Maryland, Jason studied industrial design at Pratt Institute and spent most of his early career in production, retail and properties design with MTV Networks and ESPN before going solo in 2010. Since 2006, Jason has been meticulously exploring the innards of some of our favorite characters for our enjoyment. In 2015 Jason teamed up with Singapore based toy company MightyJaxx to produce limited edition sculpture reproductions and manufactured toys based on his creations, most can be found at his partner site
