The name Matthew Bone might not be recognizable now, but he's certain to take the geek community by storm. Mixing imagery of geek culture — whether it be Star Wars action figures or comic book covers — with "hot chick pics" straight out of skin mags, Bone's oil paintings beg to be noticed … and you'd have to blind not to want to look at them. His work is currently on display at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery, in a show entitled "Paradise Lost" though the gallery space itself is divided between four different shows at the moment. "Paradise Lost" runs from February 3rd to the 26th; La Luz de Jesus Gallery is located at 4633 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90027 laluzdejesus.com.
