Welcome to this weeks 'Official' Featured Artists post with four great artists to follow. Each week we pick some artists we like who also happen to have some stuff going on this week that we think you should know about. Whether it's a new release, upcoming show, or just some cool stuff they're recently made. Anyway, on to our featured artists
Featured for Designer Toys: Attaboy
Attaboy is best known as the co-founder of Hi-Fructose magazine, and over the years has created some great toys. Besides having a Dunny in the latest 'Dunny 2012 series', Attaboy was also part of 'Super Amazing Spectacular' and 'The Big Bang' the two inaugural mini-series from English toy manufacturer Dudebox. It doesn't stop there as Attaboy will have a 7.5" Ted from Dudebox titled 'Punchy The Clown' available at SDCC. Featured for Custom Toys: Ryan the Wheelbarrow
His official title at Kidrobot is 'Social Media Ambassador', and he's been producing a variety of customs over the last few years in his signature 'O8STACLES' and 'TY_PO' styles. Ryan will be making the trek out to SDCC along with Kidrobot where he'll screenprinting exclusive t-shirts at the Kidrobot booth #4529 on 7/15 from 12-2pm. The Bungaloo, aka John Vogl, has been part of several Gallery 1988 shows including two of my favorites 1988 X GPK and Multiplayer x2. John is constantly creating new prints for a variety of amazing bands which are usually up for sale on his site if you can catch them. Featured for Original Art: Craww
Everytime I see one of Craww's pieces popup in Trampt I'm equally amazed and uncomfortable by the skills of this self-taught painter. Craww likes to blur the lines between beauty and chaos which creates fascinating interplay and motion. A few of his original pieces are currently featured on the Spoke Art Gallery site, and I highly recommend if you have the cash to go grab one.
