24 x 30 Inches Acrylic, Watercolor, Ink, Colored Pencil & Collage on Paper Mounted to Canvas This piece is from an ongoing series called The Arrangement which is an exploration of floral still lifes referencing 17th and 18th century Dutch and Flemish painting, otherwise known as the Golden Age. I begin each piece by scanning a reproduction of the 18th century reference painting. I digitally cut out various floral elements from it and then print them out to use them as collage elements. Each painting has a mix of hand painted and collage images which blurs the lines between my work and the reference material that I’m pulling from." - Amir H. Fallah
