Description

15 x 17 Inches Ink on Fine Art Paper "For some reason I started doing Native American fish morphed with WWII aircraft. My father was a pilot during world war two and he helped instill the interest in the air war. I developed an interest on my own with native north American fish. I keep them in my fish tanks. One day I found myself drawing one of my crappies, and I put German BF-109 markings on it and it looked bad ass, so it went from there to here. While doing them Dr. Seuss’s “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” book came into mind and his fish started to work themselves into the pieces. I kinda feel like I highjack Dr. Seuss, who I have the up most respect for. I hope I’m doing them justice, I feel that I am…it’s fun." - Derek Hess This piece of original artwork comes framed and signed by Derek Hess and includes an Original Artwork Letter of Provenance from 1xRUN.
