About this Platform

Lunartik in a Cup of Tea is a designer toy series created by British artist Matt JOnes (aka Lunartik). These collectible vinyl figures feature a stylized character sitting inside a teacup, blending a whimsical and minimalist design with a playful tea-themed concept. The original Lunartik in a Cup of Tea figure is a small, round-headed character with a simple face, often depicted with a tea bag tag hanging from the cup. The series includes Mini-Teas (smaller versions with various colors and flavors) and special edition teas, featuring collaborations, custom designs, and exclusive releases. Sixxa is a clothing company specializing in streetwear for outgoing girls of all ages. Back in 2004, Kathi Macheiner was busy creating her own T-shirt designs, a passion which developed into the founding of the Sixxa label three years later. Today, Kathi's store on the Kirchengasse caters to an urban clientele that includes urban art aficionadas, skaterboarder and toy collectors. Customers can expect to find a large assortment of funky T-shirts, hoodies, vests, sweaters and (mostly) products from select brands that reflect the store's philosophy, as well as a large number of urban art toys from Kid Robot, books and more. Opening hours: Mo - Fr: 11:00 - 19:00 Sa: 11:00 - 18:00 A guy in his mid-30ies, former snowboard professional. In all the subcultures that he's involved with, age is not the important thing anymore, and the group of people he skates with, snowboards with, or works on art projects are anything from 10 to 70. It’s like-minded people, and probably has to do with the common goal of having fun. The everyday passion is still there: he broke his hand last summer for the first time in 25years of skateboarding , still had to paint a 22ft tall character sculpture 3 days later for the opening of the self-built concrete skatebowl! ;) Lunartik’s Mini Tea Tour featuring 70+ custom works of art, created from Matt JOnes’ platform toy, Lunartik in a Cup of Tea. These artistic interpretations have been brewed to perfection by a fine selection of World Artists. The Mini Tea Tour debuts at the 43° Gallery in Berlin, then moves on to Vienna to the Sixxa store for spring, then off to the USA and to Dragatomi for summer, and lastly we see this year’s tour come to rest in Forbidden Planet’s Mega Store in London for the Christmas season.
