Background:
Bard is designer and illustrator with a giant love for character design (and squids). This might be his speciality, but his scarily robotic dedication and love for the creative arts has provided him with talents that range from illustration to graphic design, product/apparel design, 3D and motion graphics. Since he started his professional freelance career at 15 years old, he has had the opportunity to work with some exciting clients over the last 12 years. Companies like Disney, Adobe, Pepsi, Red Cross, Coca Cola and Popular Mechanics have employed his talents.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Design and Illustration from the London College of Communication. His work has been featured in numerous design books, exhibitions and festivals around the world. He had his first solo art show in 2009 at the Ouchi Gallery in New York City.
Bard lives in Oslo with his family and their cat Tiki, where he works as an Art Director at Hyper Interaktiv. At night he composes his own projects like designer toys, t-shirts and children's books for the iPad/iPhone under his Stupid Art Company. In 2010 he is launching his first interactive book, called "Adventures of Jack & Joe" which will be on the Apple App Store.
