Background:

Video editor by day and self-taught artist by night. After earning a degree in Media Production and Digital Design, New York based artist M.Clancey moved onto more traditional mediums and began applying them within the custom vinyl toy community. His sculptural work presents new and interesting visuals while still embracing the structure of the original figure/toy. Influences range from fellow customizers to comic illustrators, sculptors and Hollywood “monster makers.” M.Clancey’s work has been displayed in galleries in NY, PA & TX and featured on numerous blogs. Future plans include more original sculpts and limited-run resin figures.
