C2E2: 2013

this year will be the fourth incarnation of the chicago comics and entertainment expo (aka C2E2), one of my favorite events that i actually have a chance of making it to. and while it's not had the toy presence of a SDCC or NYCC, organizers are apparently taking steps this year to bring some big toy names to the windy city... or so i hear. =p
apparently there's going to be a "block"-type section (a la NYCC) this year, giving independent toy makers and artists an area to set up, much like the ever-popular artists' alley!
i am by no means a reliable source, so please don't quote me, but from what i've heard there are going to be some heavy hitters (or at least who i'd consider to be heavy hitters) showing up for this, and i'm stoked for my favorite con to try it's hand at being the next big toy event! (because not all of us can get to a coast every year, you know!) =p
(fyi, C2E2 runs from april 26th through the 28th)

That's good to hear for Chicago collectors ... I followed C2E2, so hopefully when they have some info I can do a write-up.
