What's the rarest production piece in your collection?

What's your rarest production toy? Mine is my 2009 Travis Cain wood dunny. I pulled it blind! One of (if not the) most exciting days since I started collecting. Runner up is probably my Madvillain. Not quite as rare as the wood dunny obviously, but still hard to come by. I found mine at a used book/music/game store in Tucson. You wouldn't believe me if I told you how much they sold it for :D

i have a few reasonably rare pieces, most of my Sucklord stuff is very small run, i think the hardest thing from my collection to replace would possibly be my Itokin Park Robot Nano Super Alloy, never seen one up for sale anywhere. I also have the Tilt Bubble Love - blonde  ; at 350 I guess that's reasonably rare. most of my more recent purchases are low run stuff (lower than 100)

HoodedGrub m Yeah. I've also been buying items with runs of 50 or lower recently. Two hard to find pieces for me were the 8" Thomas Han Painkiller dunny on the cover of I am Plastic, too and Buff Monster 10" Teddy Trooper. Still looking for Reach Teddy Trooper. about 12 years ago

Mister-Quiche m & I tend to mostly not buy older toys now, if I missed them I let them go (with the exception of neth creatures) if i see the reach TT come up I'll let you know ;) about 12 years ago

I think for me it is kind of a toss up. I have the Resin MADL figures which are #/20 or a sucklord figure which I guess are rare in their own regard. Or even a Huck Gee Zombie hunter or Huck Gee MADL. But I think the "hardest" to get ones I have in my collection are the Amanda Visell Donkey and Labbit and the MAD Black Ninja. Good luck finding those and prying them from someone's collection. sheesh.

Necktie v haha it was $10!! with the box! they had no idea what they had. plus, i used store credit to buy it, so it was sort of free. i just can't believe that somebody sold it to them for that little. i just assumed that somebody's ex-significant-other or parent or something like that must have sold it to get rid of it without them knowing. about 12 years ago

Easily_Amused LOL! Trash to Treasure happens all the time. Did you hear about the guy who bought a picasso for $14? (http://news.yahoo.com/picasso-14-ohio-man-buys-print-thrift-store-180909651--abc-news-topstories.html) about 12 years ago

Necktie v amazing! that's pretty much exactly how i felt, minus the part about trying to find stuff to sell. i'm certainly no flipper :) i'm also a huge mf doom/madvillain fan, so this was a double win for me! about 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused Yeah, I wouldn't sell either. It'd be a centerpiece in my collection. But you know what they say, "The only difference between a hoarder and a collector is organization." about 12 years ago

I've got a Maple Marshall and the Mini-MADL's on the way. They are all pretty limited runs. When it comes to blindbox chases, I would love to get my grubby paws on Kronk's Burn't Gingerman :)

I just bought my rarest piece for my birthday from K.olin Tribu, Kosplay by Ajee. However, It's a piece that came out after I started collecting. I'm curious to know what is rare before I started collecting (2012).

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused Thanks! I bought it with Mc Supersized and Potamus Red. It was a really expensive splurge that I wouldn't have made had they not given a really good deal (and it wasn't a special year to celebrate). about 12 years ago
