For me personally, Futurama has become a daily staple in my life because it's one of the few 'grown up' shows that I can enjoy with my daughter. While I like the idea of producing this figure, I think I would be happier if it was proportionate to the actual Bender, instead of this squished version similar to the 3" Futurama Seres. Also, if it were at least partially made of wood that would definitely seal the deal for me. I'm sure a ton of Matt Groening fans will pick this up, just like they've done with all the Kidrobot and Simpsons & Futurama collaborations.

Personally, I feel this piece kind of missed the mark. As much as I have wanted a larger Bender figure, a "wooden" one from a single episode is not going to satsify that. I would have liked to have seen a booze bottle accessory, or at least something that is always with Bender in any of the episodes. Also the fact that they didn't bother to make it resemble anything like bender, but just copied off of the stature of the 3" figure they did by making him pudgy. Makes me think they tried to hit the mark with casual viewers that relate to Bender but don't have a strong affinity towards him.
Just my 2 cents.

Kid Robot just needs to release Series 2 of the Futurama 3" figures. This figure would have been great as a 3" chase.
How many years has it been since Series 1 was released?
