My husband and I began collecting Japanese anime action figures around 2000. Our walls were covered in Dragonball Z and Evangelion figures (still in packaging of course) until our tiny downtown apartment resembled the inside of a Toys R Us more than a living space. Then we discovered Japanese 'Urban Vinyl' by the likes of Michael Lau. While drooling on Ningyoushi.com and trying desperately to save up, we finally purchased our first figures - Agent Rat and Agent Big D figures by threezero when they released in 2002. We have since packed up the majority of our anime action figures and instead display our new growing collection of designer toys with great pride.
