Kidrobot toys & cloths on plndrSave on some 10" Labbits to own or customize

One of the only reasons I'm on sites like or is because occasionally they have some great deals on toys from Kidrobot and art prints from a variety of artists. Last time I used plndr... [ read more ]

Kozik Goons by JC RiveraKozik Tribute show at 1:AM Gallery opens 11.02.12

JC Rivera killed this concept converting Kozik's own Goon Squad figures into the man himself and one of his most iconic characters the Labbit. These customs are part of the upcoming Kozik Tribute Show at 1:AM Gallery in San Francisco. Oddly enough we'll actually be landing in SF the night before to visit some family, but unfortunately the night of the opening we'll be on the road down to DCon. So we'll have to do a run-thru of the show when we come back up. With the killer line-up listed below it's sure to be an amazing show which opens November, 2nd at 6:30pm.... [ read more ]

Kronk's take on the '8/9' deadly sins in Labbit form8 Deadly Sins Labbit Series by Kronk & Kidrobot

Looks like even while Kidrobot is busy running around SDCC, they still have time to drop some news on us. South African superstar (world-wide superstar) Kronk has teamed up with Kidrobot to produce a Labbit series titled Deadly Sins. My only confusion with this series is why are 8 mentioned in Kidrobot's blog post when there are actually 9 cards included in the post: Sloth, Pride, Envy, Dejection, Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Wrath, and Stupidity? Regardless, the series looks awesome and if all of them are included in a case I will definitely pick one up on July 26th.... [ read more ]

Must Know Monday artists ... wednesday editionFeatured Artists: Kronk, Stuart Witter, Tim Doyle & Jim Mahfood

Another deployment snafu prevented us from getting up our weekly featured artists up in time. I think it's time for some office assistants/interns or something to keep things rolling smoother around here. As per usual all these artists are great and have some new stuff going on we think you should know about. Generally it's a bunch of kick-ass stuff that I just really want to get my hands on. Anyway, on to our featured artists... [ read more ]

Back to back Labbit releases ... this time with a bit more pizzazNew Release: Choice Cuts Labbit by Frank Kozik

How does Kidrobot follow up the release of three new glossy Labbit's two days ago? That's right announce another Labbit, Choice Cuts. This design by Kozik is definitely more appealing to me than just another solid color, but it does reminds me a bit of Jon-Paul Kaiser's custom 'Huern' a few months back . Either way, these guys will be retailing for $80 at Kidrobot stores and of course on [ read more ]

They're like other labbits, but this time ... glossyNew Release: Glossy 10" Labbits from Kidrobot

Now, I might get some backlash for this, but I feel like someone is just throwing a box of crayons in the air, picking a few colors and making another round of Labbits. The only thing left to do at this point is make one out of wood or carbon fiber. Don't get me wrong, Kozik is amazing and I lined up at NYCC to pick up the Yankee Pig Dog Labbit by Kronk, but I think there are enough colors out in the world for someone to find the Labbit color that is right for them. Instead of more solid-colored labbits, Kidrobot should figure out how to improve the paint on the next round of Pig Dog Labbits.... [ read more ]
